Nyalarus was built with the Bowhunter in mind. At Nyala Rus we have been keen hunters for the past 15 years and have hunted many species both in South Africa and Abroad, both with rifle and bow.

We have been fortunate to also visit many different hunting farms in their travels and have applied a lot of these ideas into the Nyala Rus hunting environment.
When you get into the hides and blinds, you can see that they are designed and built with the bowhunter in mind. All hides have camera ports allowing you to make video recordings of the hunt. One pit blind has enough space to accommodate a whole film crew if that is what you would like to do. View ports allow you a near 360 degree look at what is happening around your blind.

Once you have been fortunate in taking the animal you’re after, trackers as well as dogs will help you find your trophy. Care taken by all staff, from trackers to skinners, to ensure your animal is properly caped and prepared for transport. If required, arrangements can be made to deliver your horns, cape and skin to a taxidermist. An archery practice range is available to ensure that you and your equipment are in tune before going into the field. The necessary equipment to ensure that repairs on equipment can be done on the farm is available to all archers. The whole De Klerk family, as well as the farm manager, Hendre, are all bowhunters themselves, thus they understand the needs of the bowhunters.

The main focus is the trophy hunter, being both the foreign and local trophy hunter. Managing the farm and animals properly, we are well aware that on an annual basis some non-trophy animals will have to be taken off. Thus, even though you might not be a trophy hunter, it is always a good thing to contact Nyalarus to see what animals have been earmarked for management. And every year there will be some animals that have been put aside at very good prices for the local venison hunter.

Nyalarus is also known for its conference and learning centre, we are well equipped to accomodate Bowhunter education and corperate functions inside our 232 square meter facility. This conference centre is equipped with visual aids including multimedia, whiteboards, flipchart stands, overhead projection and wireless connections to the internet to assist in the presentations.

We do also offer our facilities for customised events, that are catered around your requirements.
2010 we catered and hosted two weddings with great reviews from all guests.
